Evernorth Health Services has inked a multi-year deal with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) to serve as their official health services partner. This alliance will support community health and vitality and makes Evernorth the predominant face of NBA Total Health – a comprehensive health platform for fans.
The partnership aims to fuse the influential sway of NBA with Evernorth's health expertise to provide enriching, holistic health programming. This includes strengthening the connection between physical, mental, preventive, and community health.
NBA Total Health, presented by Evernorth, will debut at the NBA All-Star 2025 event in San Francisco, with a community walk aiming to inspire fans, current and former players and their families to consciously embark on their health journeys. The collaboration will extend to holistic health and wellness initiatives at major events, offering essential services such as screenings, educational resources, and wellness activities. Evernorth aims to improve both the physical and mental health of NBA fans and their communities.
This partnership between Evernorth, the NBA, the WNBA, and eight other renowned brands is a game changer because it employs the reach and name recognition of the NBA, WNBA, and multiple star players to benefit the fans across the country. It’s the reason why the NBA Health platform was launched at NBA All-Star Weekend, and more activations are planned for the WNBA All-Star Game in the near future. It allows the NBA to promote wellness while manufacturing new touchpoints with existing and new target audiences.
