Scope of Impact: National

Monumental Sports & Entertainment, U.S. Figure Skating, and Entertainment Gang are hosting “Legacy on Ice” - a live figure skating tribute aiming to support families and loved ones affected by the tragic incident at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
Top figures in the sport, including Ilia Malinin, Amber Glenn, and Alysa Liu will bring a star-studded performance to remember those lost, including members of the U.S. figure skating community.
All proceeds will support victims' families and first responders, going to the U.S. Figure Skating Foundation, Greater Washington Community Foundation’s “DCA Together Relief Fund,” and DC Fire & EMS Foundation.
Honoring the memory of those lost while standing united in remembrance and resilience is the key message of this event: a blend of history, emotion, and excellence.

The figure skating family was forced to face a terrible tragedy, and the sports industry came together to support them.
Monumental Sports & Entertainment, the parent company of the NBA’s Washington Wizards and the WNBA’s Washington Mystics, as well as owner of the Capital One Arena stepped up to host “Legacy On Ice,” are showing how sports can unite people in tough times.
