Scouting Report: UNINTERRUPTED, The LeBron James Family Foundation, and Indeed have joined forces to launch a national campaign championing skills-first hiring. Here's what you should know:
What's the campaign? It's a national initiative to promote the value of skills and experience over traditional credentials in the hiring process. The campaign includes a national commercial, a digital series, and the integration of Indeed's tools into the LeBron James Family Foundation's programs.
A new digital series: "The Main Thing," a four-part digital series on UNINTERRUPTED's YouTube channel, will feature LeBron James in conversation with cultural icons like Tony Hawk and Teyana Taylor, discussing how they built their careers through skills and determination.
A community focus: The partnership will also include an in-person job event at House Three Thirty in Akron, Ohio, offering skills training and career development workshops to the community.

LeBron just doesn’t stop. Just a few months ago we were talking about the release of Kenbassador Barbie benefiting his family foundation and now he’s back bringing more attention to an issue he’s seeing for his community back in Akron - employment access.
We love how the focus of this campaign equates skills and experience over formal education. This directly addresses systemic barriers that often exclude talented individuals from opportunities. And by partnering with Indeed, they are bringing a practical solution that has the potential to reshape how companies approach talent acquisition at a national scale.
The multi-faceted approach, combining a national media campaign with on-the-ground community engagement, demonstrates a deep understanding of the issue and a commitment to creating lasting change. All this is happening while season 23 of the King’s career is loading.
