The Opportunity: A Thriving Market Ripe for Impact

The global sports industry is undergoing a digital transformation, attracting substantial investment with a growing preference for technology enabled providers in the sports media landscape. In 2024 alone, over $4.4 billion was invested in sports technology, with a significant portion focused on enhancing fan experiences. This trend is set to continue, with January 2025 already marking a record month for sports tech funding, exceeding $3.9 billion. Key areas driving this growth include fan engagement platforms, media technologies, and solutions leveraging AI for personalized content and enhanced experiences.

At the same time, there’s a growing demand for purpose-driven ventures from investors who recognize the increasing priority of social impact. This is particularly evident in the sports world, with a significant rise in athlete philanthropy. Over the past decade, more than 60 professional athletes in the D.C. and Baltimore areas alone have established their own charitable organizations. This demonstrates a powerful trend of athletes using their platform for social good, creating a receptive audience and numerous opportunities for a platform like WIN | WIN to amplify their impact.

Our Solution: Building a Leading Platform at the Forefront of Change

WIN | WIN is strategically positioned to capitalize on these converging trends by providing a dynamic media platform that curates, creates, and distributes content focused on the positive impact of sports on society. We are building unique spaces – both digital and physical – where meaningful human engagement and social impact can flourish.

Our business model is designed for sustainability and scalability, leveraging multiple revenue streams to ensure long term growth and profitability. We’re not just telling stories — we’re building a movement that connects athletes, fans, and brands around a shared vision of a better world through sports.

Our key initiatives include:

W|W Daily: Our core product offering of the WIN | WIN website, Daily Downloads, our W|W Wednesday newsletters, social media engagements, guest contributor content, community event listings, and industry job boards.

W|W Originals: Original shows, like Beyond the Scoreboard and The Legacy Lounge. Production partnerships for short films and episodic content following teams’ and athletes’ social impact initiatives. Live event development and activations, like W|W Fantasy Weekends. Merch and cultural collaborations, like exclusive product drops. Licensing deals, like W|W sponsored youth and adult rec leagues. And if we’re dreaming really big, the Sports Philanthropy Hall of Fame.

W|W FWD: About 70% of kids drop-out of sports by the age of 13. W|W FWD is designed to keep them engaged, even if they’re not on the playing field, by teaching them to become writers, video creators, photographers, or podcasters for their local rec teams — amplifying their own voices, while also celebrating the accomplishments of youth athletes, teams, and leagues in their local communities.

W|W Upshot: A mashup between a resource hub, Masterclass studio, and a venture accelerator, all living at the intersection of sports and social good. We'll provide virtual curriculum and training modules, video content that follows up-and-coming sports philanthropists through their journeys, and entrepreneurial coaching to help brands, industry pros, and nonprofit leaders create the most opportunities for social impact.

W|W Draft: For athletes, teams, brands, and orgs who are just starting to building their social impact efforts, we’ll provide foundational marketing services, campaign and event concepting, partnership identification and facilitation, networking connections, and ongoing strategic support.
