WIN | WIN launched in March 2025 with the goal of becoming the go-to media hub for stories at the intersection of sports and social good — and to make impact a part of the everyday narrative of sports. Now, we’re evolving our formats and our focus to give fans even more reasons to root for their heroes, and give athletes and teams more ways to build powerful legacies for the future. Here’s what we’ve done, and where we’re headed:

  • 100 Stories: Our Daily Downloads (DLs) have covered stories from all parts of the ecosystem, and all parts of the world — from women’s tackle football in Kansas City to CPR education in London, and youth soccer in South America to NBA stars tackling the racial wealth gap in the US. We’ve also partnered with other great leaders in the space, like GoFundMe and Youth Sports Business Review, to curate the best from around the leagues.

  • Beyond the Surface: With a solid foundation in place, we’ll be working over the coming months to bring you more content that creates deeper connections —  like Legacy Lounge, a new show where we sit down with athletes to learn about the “why” behind their impact work, or powerful episodic series that follow along with athletes’ and teams’ journeys as they support their communities.

  • The ROI of Impact: We know that doing good is good for business, so we’re also expanding to provide strategic support to teams, leagues, and organizations looking to build stronger fan bases through amplifying their stories of social impact.

There are countless athletes, teams, and leagues involved in social impact work, but their stories aren’t typically given the attention or visibility they deserve. They’re more often seen as “extra” or a “bonus” — not core to the culture of sports. We have two theories driving us to make these efforts not only more visible, but to leverage them as catalysts for social progress and business growth:

1) Sports are one of the most unifying and powerful platforms for good in the world. And when more stories of sports and social impact get recognized, more people in the ecosystem will want to contribute — making giving back as much a part of sports culture as foam fingers and fantasy leagues.

2) Social impact builds connection, which builds loyalty, fandom, and revenue. When teams and athletes invest in their communities, their communities invest back in them — buying tickets, wearing merch, watching games, engaging on social, and being brand ambassadors in every part of their lives.

So what do we love? All of it. And, we love all of you for believing in what we’re building. Thank you, from all of us on the small but mighty WIN | WIN team.

We’re deep in the rush of investor decks, pitches, connections, and conference calls. We’ve got big plans and even bigger ideas, and it takes money to make them all happen.

As we unlock key funding, we’ll be able to bring more of these ideas to life. Think university partnerships that tap into — and support — student-athletes. Merch collabs with up-and-coming brands that have giving back as part of their operations. In-person experiential events and pop-ups to bring fans, athletes, and communities together IRL.

We’re on the brink of blowing this space wide open…and we’re so glad you’re here for it with us.

As we keep building WIN | WIN, think about how you can keep building your impact, too.

What stories are hiding just beneath the headlines that you can start telling across your owned channels — or that W|W can help amplify?

Where are there opportunities to expand your presence in your local community? What kind of partnerships or collabs could help your fans and your organization?

Let’s keep this momentum going, and keep amplifying the good that makes sports great.
